Low Idle Vacuum Tuning
Quote from bdhulderman on August 29, 2020, 6:33 pmDid you change your cam setting? If so, time for another log file. When you have to restrict that much fuel, because of an incorrect cam setting, that could cause your hanging idle, because it can't restrict enough. If this doesn't fix it, you can do what I had to do with my engine, increase loop down rate like I've told you before. I was under the impression you were in neutral and not under load in drive. For neutral, taking that long to come down is not unusual. You've got other problems much more severe than that.

Loop rate down is set to the max value of 40. Understood it's not unusual it takes that long for the idle to return in neutral. Issue is clutching and shifting gears when RPMs don't drop fast enough. Perhaps you're correct that I've got an engine problem that FiTech has highlighted that wasn't detectable with the carburetor. Thank you for investing your time into my issue.
