engin stall when fully warm and coming to a stop
Dart block, 383, MSD Probillet distributor, MSD digital 6A using timing controll. Advance set at 18 on balancer and hand held.
System running for more than a year and for the most part running well. No starting issues and good throttle response but have ongoing issue with warm engine when coming to a stop or low speed accellertaion. Problem seems to happen after ten mile or more trip at highway speed. When coasting down for a stop engine dies. It will restart but the moment back in gear or light peddle added it dies. There are times that after restart the idel drops lower and lower to only 200 rpm or so and suddenly tries to recover. The recovery and low rpm continues back and forth until it dies.
I would add log file but fitech csv file extensions are not allowed. Strange that this is a Fitech forum but native Fitech log files not allowed?
Any ideas?
I am just an individual that started this site. I am not affiliated or funded by Fitech. We do not accept direct uploads of datalogs due to security concerns. I would like to add the capability one day but this is a free site and I'm not able to invest anymore funds for added security and features. It may be best that you contact Fitech directly, since they are the ones you paid money too.
The forum seems to offer a lot of great information and I thought it was affiliated with Fitech. Totally understand.
I have talked with Fitech but their replys seem a bit vague.

Yep, they do give vague advice many times. Probably a big reason why this site has been successful. I have been working to get Fitech to lend support. We are still negotiating.
You can leave a Dropbox or Cloud link here for datalogs. I have seen some convert to pdf and post, but need to squeeze the information into one page.
I would really like to see your log. The symptoms you describe could be a few different issues or multiple issues that seem related. I may also recommend doing a software upgrade, which I have to share. Let's see the log....

The last part of the log shows engine going lean and then stall. IAC goes up but fuel goes down. TPS is static.

I am seeing a lot of things happening here. The TPS is moving all over the place. Are you throttling during the datalog? If you look toward the end, the TPS will jump randomly on 1 line of data. 1 line is 1/3 of a second. I don't think your foot can move that fast....
The first part of the log I was driving through my neighborhood slowing and accelerating to make turns but no letting off throttle completely to keep rpm up and get home. I used breaks to overcome speed to make turns. At line 1664 I arrived home and was parked. After line 1664 you can see several times, the rpm dropping to stall and restarting with no tps change. The quick throttle inputs starting at line 1885 through 2014 was me. I was just keeping the rpm up to prevent the stall.
When it does stall (starting at line 1664) the iac goes up while fuel decreases and afr goes lean.
This seems to happen only while fully warm. The next morning it started and went to steady idle.
This sounds like a fuel related issue. What pump are you running? How is your fuel system set up? What is your fuel pressure when the issue arises and when it is fine?
