hand held controler not working

PreviousPage 2 of 2

Ok here we go fitech say the controller and cable test ok ,and I have checked the throttle body for 12 volts  witch checks out fine ,the plug reads 12 volts  ignition off / on / run  , have  to wait for them to send the controller and cable bale back to do some more trouble shooting …..

So did you find the problem? I have the same issue. Seems like an issue with the small power plug going into the controller

Be careful not to bend the small pin inside the controller.

no haven't found a solution ,checked everything possible related to the cable /controller  and they check out fine , even checked the cables from the throttle body itself and they check out fine for power ect .

I think its an issue within the throttle body (main board ) ,the shop where I bought it from want the whole unit sent back for testing ,which means i'd be without a car , min 2 week turn around  and this is my daily driver so I cant really take it of the road at the moment ……..

Oh, I know the feeling.  I had similar problem with the wife's 600 fitech.  The controller quit working.  Got ahold of fitech and they did eventually get me a new one.  You just can't keep unplugging them and plugging them back in.  You get about 100 of those, and it will quit connecting.  They have a flimsy power connector that's just looking to F your day up.  I finally on the second unit, had to tear the sucker apart and solder in my own connections to get it to work.  Sorry dude.  Just make damn sure you have the fitech throttle body connected to a good ground.

Mine went black screen. I have two controllers and both were black  screen but the car ran no different you just could not

tune it.(with a bad injector tuning really wasn't going to happen)Sent it back to the mother ship where they replaced the

main board. That part is now good and with the new inj.it runs very well....
