Pig rich during low RPM high MAP

PreviousPage 2 of 2

Just adding my 2¢ as I am new to this and struggling myself. I saw this article on another site and thought I would share:

http://nastyz28.com/threads/fitech-lessons-learned-mystery-lean-spike.319909/

My vehicle has similar issues (and a similar configuration) which, if I cannot figure it out on my own, I will be creating a post of my own, outlining it with data logs etc.

Thoughts?

just got over this problem tonight! whf. fitech dude was not listening to what i was explaining to him. best thing to do is send a log. before this i was driving and afr would spike then shut off on highway.  then go from 400 to 2000 rpm. would not find idle. had to try to catch rpm rev to 3 or 4 grand and hold it there then come down slow. i been beaking down for a month. so frustating. i was throwing rpm noise because of this. the dude was telling me rfi which you would think but i tried to say that by rpm signal was stout before this acted up. not voltage drops jumper wires to my g surge. tried it all. finally he is telling me my hei is causing rfi and get ready to run and seperate coil. so i did then sent data log and he said my map looked funny. maybe sensor or seal. so i tried telling him my issues and all he was doing was blaming my motor. he said my products are fine customers send them back to test and everytime they are fine. wasted man hours all kinds of stuff. so this is brand new crate motor from blueprint. alreay had one injector crap out now all this bs breaking down about 10 times to find another defect in their product. had to cut the rubber seal and now runs mint. what a freakin headache. really wondering about reliability. also i was so fed up got the motor and efi from speedway motors and they said they wont take back the efi because if there is a problem its fitech and if its already installed on vehicle cant return. called fitech to return it and they said speedway is liable. bottom line i am stuck with it. just glad i got it running. a little worried about reliability. i was ready to run holly 750. now i can return dizzy and coil to summit. tried to cancel but they already shipped it. atleast i didnt install yet. also to eliminate rfi i put in noise filter seperated tach wire foiled it stranded wire down it and grounded one side. ohmed all grounds. so all this because of the map seal. haha wow
