Temps

What is everyone seeing for warm temps?

I have seen my screen hit 235 degrees. The car didnt act like it was overheating. That seems way to high for me.

Out of the 3 Ls swaps I've done, I've had them read between 205-210. Right now Mine at idle in the driveway  is 208. Assuming you have no leaks and a good working water pump and thermostat, you may have air in your system still and prob need to "burp" the air bubbles. Using a Coolant system bleeder will help a lot.

I am changing the cts out tomorrow as It has been throwing codes and getting stuck at 185. I am just hoping my radiator is big enough.

Engine running temps depend on radiator size and efficiency, thermostat and at what temps you have your fan(s) set to run at.

Unless two vehicles are identical in every way, cars will settle at it's own temperature.

My engine runs between 180 and 210 degrees but I have a big radiator and fans and I have my fan 1 set to start at 180 degrees and fan 2 set to come on at 200 degrees.

I changed out the coolant temp sensor, and the fitech still gets stuck on 185 and throws a cts high code. I threw a mechanical temp gauge on and the temp is fine with that. Anybody have to warranty their fitech yet?
