Ultimate LS Systems 700xx information

I don't have a handheld in front of me so I can't tell you the settings. I think there might be a setting to use fans then you set the on/off temps.

Are you sending positive power to one side of the relay coil and using the fan wire to provide the ground to the other side of the coil?

Thanks for the fast response 🙂 Sorry I suck with electrical but I am most defiantly learning as I go. I posted a pic for how I am going to wire the relays just unsure of what to set fan temps to in hand held, So fan 1 200/190 fan 2 200/190? I am presuming this puts them at 1/2 speed till you hit highest temp then puts them at full?

You said that neither fan kicked in with your current setup, one relay per fan. I suggest you lower the "on" settings to say 150 degrees just to confirm you have the coils wired correctly and all else is good.

On & off settings: Low fan, on at 185, off at 180. High fan, on at 190, off at 185.

Thanks I have some checking to do. Pretty sure the fan leads from Fitech may have been hooked up wrong as I used terminal 86 on both relays.

This is the newer and slightly revised version of the LS installation manual.

They wisely removed (almost) everything about the non-existent PWM fuel pump feed.

Page 4 still has the wrong part number for the throttle cable bracket. Should be 70063.

1957 Chevrolet Bel Air "More Door". 403 LS stroker, L92 heads. All Manley guts except factory lifters & rockers with Comp trunions, and Bullet cam. 4l80E w/4000 stall. 9" with 3.89 on Locker. FiTech 70014 Ultimate LS 750 HP kit, LS3 intake and 92mm TB.

as I read up on using the pro cal software I really would like to start using it to fine tune my car. up until this point I have just set the basic parameters ( accel/ dfco/ afr @wot/ timing@wot etc.) and let it learn and drive it. I have installed the drivers and software BUT I can only get the dash active when hooked up , cant get the program to read my ecu , it will start too the stop.

Some folks have no problems connecting, others nothing but trouble. No two laptops are the same.

I can only suggest you get on the phone with Fitech while you're all setup with your vehicle connected to your laptop so they can follow along as you have problems.

i have some questions on tuning. i have a 1973 nova 6.0 liter turbo with approx 20 psi boost. do you know any one that knows the 70051 system that i can talk to?
