Won’t start
Quote from Cjanderson1346 on June 10, 2019, 7:45 amHello, I installed the FiTech power adder 600hp system with the fitech inline fuel pump. I installed this a year ago at first it ran on the first try! I shut the engine off to add fuel to the car, i could never get it run again! I messed with timing, check for spark and fuel and everything was there, I dump a little fuel down the intake and it would almost run. I was on leave from deployment when I installed it and I’m now currently back in the states trying to get it running again. I need some help please! Maybe the handheld needs a software update ? Or wrong settings ? The engine is a 383 stroker chevy small block with a brand new MSD box and distributor. Thank you.

Quote from Cjanderson1346 on June 10, 2019, 2:18 pmThe tank was completely empty, I dropped the tank to change the fuel level gauge and poured all the old gas out. I started with 5 gals of gas then went to the gas station to fill up and wouldn’t start. Year later I drained the tank before I left and last weekend put 10 gals of gas still same problem.

If for some reason it’s plugged is there a way to clean it ?

Have you double checked your settings. Sometimes loses them in the first few days.

Quote from Cjanderson1346 on June 30, 2019, 10:54 pmI’m using the Fitech inline fuel pump kit, my voltage is 12.1 volts while cranking. My settings may be in correct. I’m not sure what the base setting should be. I was sold on easy install and self tuning software. The truck runs with me adding fuel down the intake so maybe the Fitech isn’t letting fuel in ? I crack the lines and I have fuel, maybe injectors are not opening ?

Quote from Deleted user on July 1, 2019, 2:20 amInjectors most likely not firing. Check your white wire and make sure it stays 12v during crank. If it drops below 11v, the unit will shut off during crank and not for injectors.
