Problem with new UltraRam EFI system for SBC

PreviousPage 3 of 3

In the ignition settings there is one for coil driver. Should I have that on or off. Still throwing a coil fault code. So I turned that off and the coil fault code did not come back on. Weird 🤷‍♂️

Not sure about that one.

Now that I am off the road, I am going to load software on different SD cards,  so I can see what your menu looks like.  Even though the programming is nearly the same across all units, they seem to throw different options in.

So I left the coil driver off as I think it is for timing control and having the FiTech drive and control the coil spark and whatnot. After driving the car for an hour or so yesterday it is back to normal and driving great. I also changed up the parameters on that FDCO and that problem is gone and no more popping on decel.

One other funny thing i haven't been able to work out. When you start the car up and try to drive it say at 140* engine temp, the motor pops like a tight valve, once it hits 160* and above popping is gone. Never did that before with carb or the GoEFI1200, weird. Once the engine is warmed up to 180* it runs like a dream, still nailing down the idle stuff but I feel like I'm really close.
